ERROR422

by Omnixerio

ERROR422 brings the creepypasta of the same name into Minecraft as an unofficial port, adding random glitch events to the world and a glitched loading and title screen.

FabricForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.19.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Random events happen in the world while it is played. One of them is ERR422, also called Glitch, which appears at roughly 40 to 70 minutes into a session. Its loading screen and title screen are altered as well, so the mod changes the game's startup presentation, not only what happens in the world.

The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both the server and every player need it. It requires Architectury API, Fabric API, Forge Config API Port and Omnixerio Modding Library. Files are published for Fabric and Forge for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, and the code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. Public links to its source code and issue tracker exist.

Key features

  1. Random world events

Events occur at random during play, changing the world without a player triggering them directly.

  2. ERR422 glitch event

The Glitch event appears after roughly 40 to 70 minutes in-game, an unusual moment in an ordinary session.

  3. Glitched loading screen

The loading screen is altered to look corrupted, matching the creepypasta the mod is based on.

  4. Glitched title screen

The title screen shows the same corrupted look as the loading screen when the game starts.
