Epic Fight - Rapier Moveset Addon

by yonchichikito

With Epic Fight - Rapier Moveset Addon installed, the rapier becomes a combat weapon with its own moveset built on the Epic Fight system.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

The addon adds a rapier moveset to Epic Fight, with four rapier moves that use their own animations, including a new parry. Seven rapier weapons are included, in iron, netherite and three new tiers. Three new crafted materials, Enderite, Oceanite and Witherite, define those tiers, and one special mixed rapier combines the moveset with Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks style magic. The newer tiers are obtained by defeating a boss through the vanilla method, depending on the tier, and JEI can be used to look up their recipes.

The addon requires Epic Fight. Its public source code is available, and the mod is published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. The author states that the work is focused on 1.20.1, the version most players prefer, and that later versions depend on available time. Modpack makers can use the mod, and datapacks can give other weapons rapier moveset capabilities, as explained on the wiki page. The mod is licensed as All rights reserved and is not open source.

Yes. Epic Fight is a required dependency, so it must be installed alongside this addon on the same loader.

Which versions are supported?

What the author says

Will this mod be backported to 1.19.2 or 1.18.2 or 1.16.4? No, sadly i dont have the time and motivation to port it to thoose versions and most people prefer to play on 1.20.1, and in the future with newer versions this 1.20.1 could be the actual 1.19.2 in terms of people.
