Enchantment Transfer
by GuTaiBai
Enchantment Transfer lets players move enchantments between items through an Enchanted Table and an Anvil, and adds a Transfer Spell for the same purpose.
What it does
The mod adds selective decomposition to the Enchanted Table, so a player can strip specific enchantments from a book or item. Decomposed enchantments can be carried over onto other gear with the Enchant spell. A transferred grimoire keeps its enchantments when the source item is removed. An Anvil change lowers the cost of work that would otherwise read as too expensive, and the level cap for transferred enchantments is raised to 180.
The Transfer Spell can move a full set of enchantments at once, and decomposition spells are optional, so a server can leave them out of the Enchanted Table. Other tweaks cover item stacks, where the maximum stack of 16 is raised to 64 for affected items, and mob drops, where killing enemy pairs gives a configurable chance of creature eggs. Materialized villagers and an empty-hand press alternative are also included.
Enchantment Transfer is published for Fabric only, for 1.20 – 1.21.4, and runs on the server alone. Players join without installing it. The code is released under the MIT License but is not open source.
