EMI Ores
by abbie
With EMI Ores installed, the EMI recipe viewer can show where each ore generates in the world, including the Y-level range, vein size, veins per chunk and biome limits.
What it does
EMI Ores is a plugin for EMI that reads ore placement data and presents it inside the recipe viewer, so players can check generation details for an ore without leaving the game. The displayed information covers the height band an ore spawns in, the size of each vein, how many veins appear per chunk, and which biomes an ore is restricted to. Modded ores are read from the data pack placed features, so they usually appear without any extra setup.
The mod requires EMI and Fabric API, and it must be present on both the client and the server; when only one side has it, it disables itself without an error. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for game versions 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.3 as the latest release for 1.21.1. The code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and source code, an issue tracker and a wiki are linked from the project.
