Elytra Capes, for players who wear a cape while gliding, changes the default cape style so it follows the elytra look.

What it does

The mod changes the default cape style to an elytra style and keeps it in a flat form. Players who use an elytra see that appearance when they glide, and the setting is applied without any extra step. It is a client mod: servers run without it, and only players who want the look install it.

Installation needs Fabric. Mod Menu is optional and adds a settings screen for the mod. Cloth Config API is bundled inside the mod, so nothing else needs to be added. Files target 1.17 – 1.21.1, with 2.3 for 1.21.1 as the latest build, and the code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
