What it does

The guns in Dubstep Guns play custom dubstep tracks while they fire, so each shot is timed to the music. Explosive impacts react to the beat, and the effects are tied to the track that is playing. The mod is a modern port, updated for Minecraft 1.20.1, of an original Dubstep Gun Mod by Saint, and it is based on that original work.

Players who want a weapon mod with a music focus can use it in single-player or on a multiplayer server. Both the server and every player need the mod installed. It is built for Forge only, with a single file for 1.20.1 published on 2026-01-04 in the beta channel. The code is released under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.
