DrinkWater gives players a thirst meter and a reusable water flask, so drinking from water sources becomes part of survival play.

What it does

Players drink directly from water sources, and a reusable flask can be filled and carried for later. A thirst bar shows drink progress on the HUD, kept clean so it does not crowd the screen. Swimming pauses the thirst timer while a player stays idle. The underwater HUD hides its elements, and filling the flask is not possible while the player is underwater.

Both the server and every player need the mod, since the environment is client and server. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.21 – 26.1 covering thirteen release versions. The latest file is 1.0.0 for 26.1, and the code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
