Dimensional Kitsune is a Origins add-on that gives players a fox-themed origin with three switchable modes, each changing movement, combat and surroundings.

What it does

The mod adds the Dimensional Kitsune origin, a single origin addon that can be chosen from the Origins library. Its three modes are switched in play: Overworld, Ender and Nether. Overworld mode gives the strongest dash, and dashing can be used up to seven times. Ender mode lets the player appear larger, gain some buffs, go invisible while shifting and occasionally teleport when hit. Nether mode sets fire to nearby entities, and channeled souls strengthen its abilities.

The origin needs Origins, Origins (Forge) and Origins Extra Keybinds to work. Server owners must install it, since the environment is server required with the client optional. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for 1.20.1 – 1.20.4, under a custom license that is not open source.

Key features

  1. Three switchable modes

    A key cycles the player between Overworld, Ender and Nether modes, each with its own set of abilities.

  2. Overworld dash

    Overworld mode grants the strongest dash, with up to seven uses before it has to recharge.

  3. Ender phantom abilities

    Ender mode grants invisibility when shifting, random teleports after hits and a warden-style trick.

  4. Nether flames

    Nether mode can circle the player in fire, engulfing nearby entities, and gains extra damage from souls collected in battle.
