Decorative Gaming Consoles
by Maxsteelbro
Decorative Gaming Consoles puts a set of current-generation game consoles and their accessories into the decoration category, to place in a home.
What it does
The mod adds a range of gaming consoles, controllers and related blocks that players can place and arrange as decoration. Several models appear under their own names, with recolors for some of them, and a few blocks also carry extra functionality beyond their looks.
Because the consoles are decorative blocks, they fit residential builds, arcade rooms and any scene that needs a living-room setup. The content is built on Decorative Video Game Systems, so the design draws on that earlier mod's approach. Installation is needed on both sides because the environment is client and server, and the same file targets Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
Key features
Console models
Several console designs are included, named after current-generation hardware, for placing in a room.
Recolored variants
A number of consoles come in recolored versions, so a setup can use matching or contrasting finishes.
Functional extras
Some blocks behave beyond their look, which the author describes as extra functionality.
Cheaper crafting option
A lower-cost version of one console is available as an alternative to the standard recipe.

Use cases
Living room builds
Players can place a console and its accessories in a house to recreate a home entertainment corner.
Arcade and game rooms
A room with several consoles and recolored variants fits a themed gaming area on a server or in single-player.
Who it’s for: Builders who decorate homes, arcade rooms or themed spaces with game consoles. Server owners who want the same decorations available to every player on a shared world, since the environment requires both sides.
