Decorative Blocks Reborn

by bigenergy

Decorative Blocks Reborn adds a set of decorative blocks, including bonfires, chandeliers, wooden seats and thatch, for building scenes on Fabric and NeoForge.

FabricNeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.21.1 – 26.3

What it does

Several new blocks are added for building, and most of them are crafted from vanilla materials. A chandelier can be crafted from four torches and reversed back into torches, while rocky dirt converts to and from four dirt. Wooden beam blocks and wooden seats let a player sit by right-clicking, and shift with items held shows tooltips.

The bonfire can be lit with blaze powder and uses a configurable activator set through an item tag. Soul fire variants of the bonfire, brazier and chandelier are included. Thatch can be cut open with shears and removed with hoes, and a gamerule turns that thatch feature off on a server. Bonfires and seats follow the Decorative Blocks line of mods, whose later builds start at 1.21.1.

Both the server and every player need the mod, since the environment is client and server. Files exist for Fabric and NeoForge across five game versions, 1.21.1 – 26.3, and the mod is released under the MIT License without being open source.
