Datamancer
by Trivaxy
Datamancer is a Fabric and Quilt library for datapack and command block developers, with tools that speed up building and testing functions.
What it does
The mod gives datapack developers and command block builders a set of utilities for writing functions. Function profiling measures how long a function takes to run, so slow commands can be found and tuned. Automatic datapack reloading picks up file changes without a manual reload, which shortens the edit and test cycle.
Debug lines draw the path of a function in the world, and marker goggles show marker entities with their data. A live variable tracker displays the values of selected variables while a function runs. Fabric API is a required dependency and must be installed alongside Datamancer. Installation covers the server and each player's game.
Builds are published for Fabric and Quilt across five release versions 1.20 – 1.21, with 1.2.1 for 1.21 as the latest file, released on 2024-08-03. Snapshot builds are published as well. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source.
