Damage zone
by Redynine
Damage zone adds an invisible, intangible block that hurts players who enter it, useful for building custom maps and minigames.
What it does
Damage zone lets a map maker set an area where players take damage on contact. The block is invisible and intangible, so players walk through it without noticing a wall, and the damage it deals is what makes it work as a hazard. It is obtained only from the creative operator's tab or by command, so survival players cannot craft it. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, across 15 release versions 1.14.4 – 1.21.8, and the license is All rights reserved.
Key features
Damage area block
A block that inflicts damage on any player who enters it, for marking hazardous zones on a map.
Invisible and intangible
The block has no visible texture and no collision, so it does not change how the map looks or blocks movement.
Creative-only access
The block appears only in the creative operator's tab and can be given by command, keeping it out of survival play.
