Crim's Alchemy
by Crimsoff
Crim's Alchemy is a Forge magic mod built around an Alchemical Cauldron, where potions are brewed from a modular set of ingredients.
What it does
The cauldron starts with a capacity of one effect, and adding netherwart blocks raises that capacity. Extra ingredients for amplifiers and duration modifiers use up capacity, so each brew is a trade-off between strength and room for effects. The mod runs on client and server, and it is published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with Just Enough Items (JEI) as an optional dependency. The code is public, but the mod is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Modular brewing
Potions are assembled from separate ingredients rather than fixed recipes, so each brew can be tuned.
Alchemical Cauldron
A single block handles the whole process, requiring heat and water before any ingredient is added.
Capacity system
Each netherwart block adds capacity, and amplifiers or duration modifiers consume it.
