Creeper Healing
by ArkoSammy12
Creeper Healing is a server-side Fabric mod that repairs blocks damaged by creeper explosions and other blast sources over time.
What it does
After an explosion, the mod restores the damaged blocks automatically. Healing can be tuned through several modes: a daytime mode that holds explosions until sunrise before repair begins, a difficulty-based mode that speeds up or slows down repair according to the world's difficulty, and a blast-resistance mode in which blocks with higher resistance take longer to heal. Healing needs a source of light to take effect.
The mod supports explosions from mobs, TNT, beds and end crystals, and each source type can be configured separately. A blacklist controls which sources are healed, and item drops from explosions can be enabled or disabled per source type, either in the config file or through commands. Fabric API and Monkey Utils are required dependencies. Creeper Healing is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and it is released under the Apache License 2.0 as open source. Files are published for Fabric across 18 release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.11.
Key features
Daytime healing mode
Explosions wait until sunrise before the blocks they damaged begin to heal.
Difficulty-based healing
Repair speed scales with the difficulty set for the world on the server.
Blast-resistance healing
Blocks with higher blast resistance take longer to restore after an explosion.
Per-source configuration
Mob, TNT, bed and end crystal explosions can each be healed, blacklisted or allowed to drop items.
Block placement and NBT
Players can place blocks in a position that is still healing, and block NBT data can be restored along with the block.
