creeper-apocalypse
creeper-apocalypse turns the mobs a world spawns into Creepers, with the difficulty climbing day by day until the world becomes a chaotic challenge run.
What it does
A mob replacement system swaps the normal mobs for Creepers, and the spawn multiplier starts at a normal 1x on day 1 and rises automatically each day, reaching 10x by day 10. Creepers can also appear naturally charged, with 25 percent of them spawning that way. From day 5 they are highlighted in red and visible through solid blocks, and from day 7 a Super Charged Lightning Creeper joins the pool, with a custom purple energy aura.
Some mobs are kept as exceptions: Blazes, Villagers and the Ender Dragon stay normal, and the Iron Golem serves as the final boss, so the game can still be beaten. Blazes still drop blaze rods. The whole mod can be disabled there too, and a randomized challenge mode is available.
Key features
Mob replacement
Normal mobs are swapped for Creepers, and the choice of which mobs get replaced is made in the config menu.
Escalating spawn multiplier
The spawn rate grows automatically each day, from 1x on day 1 to 10x on day 10, with caps that can be adjusted.
Charged and highlighted Creepers
A quarter of spawned Creepers are charged, and from day 5 they are highlighted in red and visible through solid blocks.
Super Charged Lightning Creeper
From day 7 a Super Charged Lightning Creeper appears with a custom purple energy aura.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players looking for a survival challenge run, and server owners who want a themed difficulty curve that can be tuned in the config menu. The mod is installed on both the client and the server.
How it compares
All Mobs are Creepers is a Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt mod for 1.14.1 – 26.3, released under the MIT License, and the server is required while the client is optional. Nocreepers is a Fabric-only server-side mod for 1.21.11, released under All rights reserved, so clients need nothing. Friendly Creeper Mod is server-side only and released under the MIT License, but it changes Creeper behavior rather than replacing mobs.
