Create: DDCL

by Palm3

Create: DDCL adds dimmable cage lamps for Create, in four colors and in copper, industrial iron, gold and netherite, that a redstone signal can set to a chosen light level.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverCreative Commons Attribution 4.01.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Each lamp keeps the power behavior of the normal Create cage lamps, but its light level follows the redstone power fed into it, so a comparator or a sequenced pulse generator can dim a factory or a safety lighting circuit. Red, blue, green and yellow variants add colored light that stays visible at lower levels, which suits builds that use shaders.

The mod reuses some decoration assets from Create Deco, which is why Create Deco is required next to Create. Both dependencies must be present on every side that runs the mod. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, covering game versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the code is under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, so the mod is not open source. Public links are available for the source code and the issue tracker.

What the author says

Create: Deco Dimmable Cage Lamps (Create: DDCL) Have you ever used Create: Deco cage lamps? They are a very good decoration block for your builds. However, i wanted to use them as night safety lamps or as low light level signal lamps in my factories. So i created this mod for doing so.
