Design 'N' Decor: Recrafted

The mod makes Create and Design 'N' Decor work together on 1.20.1. Both Create and Create: Design n' Decor are required, and the Design 'N' Decor jar must sit in the mods folder beside them. Players who want the blocks to appear with the Create recipes install the same way as any other add-on: a single jar file placed in the mods folder.

The mod's code is licensed under MIT, but it does not contain or redistribute the Design 'N' Decor textures and assets, because those are All Rights Reserved and cannot be published with the code. Instead, at startup the mod searches the mods folder for a valid Design 'N' Decor jar, opens it as a file system, extracts the assets, and builds a resource pack from them. Players therefore need the matching Design 'N' Decor jar; the mod does not compensate for a missing or mismatched one.

The mod is published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 1.0.2-hotfix1 as the latest file, a beta-channel build from 2026-05-02. The server and every player need the mod installed. Its license is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, and the project is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
