The compat layer joins Create Crafts & Additions with Create Aeronautics, so the Docking Connector block from Create Aeronautics can move energy across both addons. Both Create Aeronautics and Create Crafts & Additions must be installed alongside this mod for it to load. The environment is server-side only, so players can join without installing it, and the license is the MIT License, though the project is not open source.
