Create: Covered

by Foundry Studios

Create: Covered lets Create's kinetic parts, such as shafts, gearboxes and tunnels, be wrapped in blocks that match the surrounding build.

NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

Covers disguise Create's kinetic components as ordinary building blocks, so shafts, gearboxes, tunnels and other rotating parts can blend into a build. A covered component keeps rotating, transmitting power and working exactly as it did before it was disguised. The mod covers its own variants as well as components added by Create's addons, and it supports material variants offered by Create, such as andesite, brass, copper, zinc, glass and wood shafts.

Covering is done in-game with Create's Wrench. Shift and right-click a component to remove an existing cover and restore its normal form, or shift and right-click with a block to place it normally instead of covering a matching vanilla block. Excluded by default are blocks with dynamic rendering or block-entity behavior, such as chests and furnaces.

The mod is installed on NeoForge for 1.21.1 and requires Create. Create: Covered runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is not open source, and its license is All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Disguised kinetic parts

Shafts, gearboxes, tunnels and other kinetic components can be covered with blocks that match the build.

  2. Full function under cover

A covered component keeps rotating and transmitting power exactly as the uncovered one does.

  3. Encased and material variants

Encased shafts, chain drives, gearshifts and clutches, plus shaft variants in several materials, can be covered.

  4. Wrench-based covering

Shift and right-click with Create's Wrench to remove a cover, or with a block to cover a matching vanilla block.
