Create Big Cannons: Equally Opposite makes cannon recoil push back on the physics object a cannon is attached to, so a cannon fired from a ship or vehicle moves that structure.

What it does

Cannons from Create Big Cannons and Autocannons from Create gain a recoil effect: each shot applies a reaction force to the Sable physics object the cannon is mounted on. Shells and autocannon rounds that strike a physics object also push it, so an enemy shell can slam a boat off its course. Create Big Cannons and Sable are required. The mod is open source under the MIT License, runs on client and server, and is published for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, with 0.1.3 as the latest file.

  1. Recoil on mounted cannons

    A cannon fired while attached to a Sable physics object pushes that object in the opposite direction of the shot.

  2. Impact forces from shells

    Cannon shells and autocannon rounds that hit a physics object transfer force to it, changing its motion.

  3. Autocannon support

    Autocannons from Create receive the same recoil and impact behavior as the cannons from Create Big Cannons.
