Create: Applied Kinetics
by Forsteri123
Applied Kinetics sends kinetic energy from Create machinery into Applied Energistics 2 networks through a dedicated energy provider block, and swaps inscriber recipes for sequenced assembly.
What it does
The mod links two existing systems. Its energy provider block passes kinetic energy from rotating machinery to the energy acceptor used by Applied Energistics 2, so a network can draw power from a rotating setup. Every inscriber recipe is replaced with a sequenced assembly recipe, which changes how those items are made in a world that uses the mod.
Applied Kinetics requires Applied Energistics 2 and Create. The server and every player need the mod installed. Builds are published for Forge and NeoForge across four release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.21.1, with 1.5.1-1.20.1 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 1.5.4 for 1.21.1 on NeoForge as the latest files. The code is not open source; the license is All rights reserved. Public source code and an issue tracker are linked from the project.
Key features
Kinetic energy provider
A block that converts kinetic energy into energy a storage network can accept.
Sequenced assembly inscribing
Inscriber recipes are swapped for sequenced assembly steps, so the same items are built in a different order.
Planned peer transfer
The author lists point-to-point kinetic energy transfer as a possible later addition; it is not part of the current files.

Who it’s for: Players who run both Applied Energistics 2 and Create in one modpack and want the two systems to share energy and crafting routes.
How it compares
Kinetic Hosting Integration is client-side only, licensed under All rights reserved, and published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 1.18.2 – 26.1.2, so a player can install it without a server. Applied KubeJS is server-side only, not open source, and published for Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, so players can join without it. Modern AE2 Additions is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, runs on client and server for 1.20.1 on Forge and NeoForge, and is a separate addition rather than a energy link.
