Craziness Awakened (Orespawn Remake)
by ZenyxYT
Players who want orespawn-style content on 1.20.1 can add Craziness Awakened, a Forge remake and successor to the original Orespawn mod.
What it does
Craziness Awakened brings a large set of unique weapons, items and mobs to Minecraft Java Edition. The Modrinth page counts more than 60 mobs, over 71 tools and weapons, 14 armor sets, more than 55 unique items with boss drops, over 128 unique blocks and more than 48 unique foodstuffs. Much of the content follows the original Orespawn mod, with many new additions alongside it.
The mod is a port of Orespawn for Forge 1.20.1, released under All rights reserved and not open source. It needs AttributeFix, Geckolib and Pehkui to run. Both the server and every player need the mod. The latest Forge file is 5.1.1 for 1.20.1, published 2025-07-14, and the mod was first published on 2024-06-13. The author notes that updates will target versions after 1.20.1, while ports to older versions are considered unlikely, and a Bedrock port is possible but unlikely. The mod is still in its alpha stage.
