Craftable Capes

Craftable Capes lets players craft capes from wool and equip them in the trinket slot, so capes become part of normal survival progression.

What it does

Recipes are found in the recipe book once a player picks up the wool piece. Crafted capes sit in the trinket slot, and they work with the Trinkets Canary path on 1.21.4 and later.

Other cape mods can coexist with it because the mod replaces their cape texture requests, and the project keeps a published list of mods it was tested with, marking which ones work together and which do not. Craftable Capes requires Fabric API and Trinkets Canary on Fabric and Quilt, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the project publishes its source code and issue tracker.
