Craft Time
by ChongYu668
Craft Time makes crafting take time: a synthesis at a workbench or furnace now runs for a length that depends on the level of the station.
What it does
Synthesizing items takes time in Craft Time, and the speed depends on the level of the workbench or furnace that runs the recipe. Workbenches are graded from the flint workbench up through the copper, iron, diamond and alloy workbenches, each finishing a recipe faster than the one before. Furnaces come in several levels as well, from clay furnaces to obsidian and hellrock furnaces, and the level sets how far a furnace can go.
The mod also ties each recipe to the materials involved. Fuel is graded from wood planks and charcoal up to blaze rods, and items to be fired are graded from meat and logs up to ancient remains, so a higher-level fuel or item shifts the timing. Installation needs Fabric on Fabric and NeoForge on NeoForge, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge across 8 release versions, 1.19.2 – 26.3, and the code is licensed as All rights reserved.
Key features
Graded workbenches
Flint, copper, iron, diamond and alloy workbenches form a ladder, and each level adds to the speed of the synthesis.
Furnace levels
Clay, stone, blast, obsidian and nether furnaces are sorted by level, and a furnace above the level of a recipe handles it faster.
Fuel level
Wood planks and charcoal sit at the bottom of the fuel scale, with coal, lava and blaze rods above them.
Firing item level
Meat and logs are the lightest items to fire, with common ores, deep ores and ancient remains taking more time.
