DarkFear makes a player's time in darkness dangerous, with damage applied while the character stays in unlit areas.
What it does
When the player is in a dark area, brightness below a set level starts a timer, and after six seconds the character takes one point of damage every two seconds. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and the server alone runs it. Fabric and NeoForge files are published for 1.19.2 – 26.3 under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.
