Craft Smitting Template
Craft Smitting Template lets players craft Smithing Templates from the same materials the templates are normally found with, so a player who has one template can make a copy.
What it does
Smithing Templates are normally found only in a few places, and copying one takes a player back to searching. This mod adds a recipe that duplicates a held template, using the original template item together with its material components, such as diamonds or netherite ingots. Duplicates can be made right after a template is found, so a team can gather enough sets of templates for several sets of armor without a long farming session.
The mod is described by its author as a small addition that makes Smithing Templates easier to obtain through crafting. It runs on the client and the server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 7 release versions 1.20.1 – 1.21.8 with 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.20.6, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5 and 1.21.8 among the game versions with files. The code is released under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source. The mod has no required dependencies, and its files are not tied to a single loader.
