With Cosmetic Nametags, a player's username above the head can be restyled through a trinket slot and equipment changes, and the chat name follows the same change.
What it does
Cosmetic Nametags changes how a username is drawn above a character's head. The change comes from an item placed in a trinket slot or from an equipment slot, and the name shown in chat can follow the same visual change. Installing it needs Fabric API and Trinkets, both required dependencies.

An item placed in a trinket slot changes the look of the username shown above the player's head.
Equipment slot nametags
Items worn in equipment slots can also alter the username display, so the effect is visible to others nearby.
Chat name styling
