Beetlebox

by volbot

Beetlebox adds beetles to Fabric worlds, along with nets, jars, machines and beetle armor sets, and it requires Fabric API.

FabricClient and serverGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.19.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Players catch beetles with nets and store them in jars, then breed and tame them through the Tank system. Each beetle has one of eight types and random stats, and those stats can be changed by feeding it Jelly. Beetles can be equipped with a backpack, which carries a gun that lets them fight and fly alongside the player.

Five machines handle crafting and automation for the mod's materials. Trinkets is optional and adds slots for the backpack and related gear. Beetlebox is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and it is published for Fabric across four game versions, 1.19.2 – 1.20.1, with 1.2 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. Client and server both need the mod, so every player on a server that runs it needs it too.
