Copper Tools & Armor Backport
Copper Tools & Armor Backport brings the official Copper tool and armor set from newer Minecraft versions back to older releases, giving copper an early-game role.
What it does
The backport adds a complete copper gear lineup: a pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe and sword, plus a helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots. Each piece is meant to match the copper gear of later Minecraft versions, so a world on an older release can use copper for real tools instead of only raw materials and blocks.
Copper becomes useful earlier in progression, between stone and iron, for players who want a tier that fits the copper ore they already collect. The set is available on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. Builds cover 1.16.5 – 1.21.8 across 12 release versions, and the code is under the MIT License, which makes the project open source.
Files exist for 1.16.5, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.20.6, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5 and 1.21.8.
