CoordsCopy v1

by MarioS271

CoordsCopy adds a key that copies the player's position or the targeted block's coordinates to the clipboard, already formatted for commands.

FabricClient-side onlyGNU Affero General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.20.2 – 26.1.1

What it does

Players who need coordinates for commands, notes or builds can copy them with one key press instead of reading them off the F3 screen and typing them by hand. One key copies the player's current position, and another copies the block under the crosshair. The values are written in the common x y z format used by Minecraft commands, for example -34 65 219, so the text can be pasted straight into a command.

CoordsCopy is a client-side only Fabric mod: only the client needs it, and servers run without it. It works for versions 1.20.2 – 26.1.1 and has files for 19 release versions, with the latest Fabric file, 1.1-26.1, dated 2026-03-26 and targeting 26.1.1. The license is the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, and the source code and issue tracker are public, so the mod is open source.

Key features

  1. Copy player coordinates

A key press copies the player's current position to the clipboard, in the same x y z layout used by commands.

  2. Copy targeted block coordinates

A second key copies the position of the block the player is looking at, without manual reading of the F3 screen.

  3. Command-ready format

Coordinates are written as three space-separated numbers, so they paste directly into commands such as teleport or setblock.

  4. Keyboard-driven copying

Both copy actions are bound to keys, so the clipboard fills without opening a menu or typing anything.
