Common Sense: Saws lets players craft saws that turn logs into planks, a step that is otherwise done by hand with an axe.
What it does
Saws are crafting tools that cut logs into wood blocks and planks, so the cutting step no longer depends on an axe alone. The mod is built around progression: saws come in five tiers, made from flint, stone, iron, diamond and netherite, and the netherite saw takes damage as it is used. Client and server both need the mod, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files covering 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4 and 1.21.8. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
