CombatSense
by Muchprow_IT
CombatSense is a Fabric client mod that shows combat information during PvP and survival fights without changing the game's rules.
What it does
When a player takes damage, directional arrows appear around the crosshair to show which direction the attack came from, which helps a player react faster in chaotic fights. A simple advantage indicator and optional awareness notifications also help during PvP situations. Looking at another player brings up a display of that player's data, and enchantment glint is shown only where an enchantment is present.
The mod is built for survival and PvP play, where clearer information makes fights easier to follow. It works only with what the client already receives, so it visualizes information that is available to the player rather than revealing hidden values. Its advantage indicator is based only on visible factors, and it makes no precise damage prediction from hidden calculations.
CombatSense runs on the client only, so players install it and servers do not need it. It uses no packet manipulation and does not modify damage, reach or automation. The mod is published for Fabric only, with a single build for 1.21.1, and it is released under the MIT License, though it is not open source.

PVP helper is a Fabric client-side mod released under the MIT License for 1.21.10 – 26.2, so it targets later game versions than CombatSense. Better Netherite Combat is different in kind: it is a server-side mod, carries All rights reserved, and covers 1.21.10 – 1.21.11.
