CoffeeG's Combat Overhauled adds many new melee weapons to Minecraft, along with a snowball that slows mobs and three movement mechanics: wall climbing, double jump and a back command.

What it does

The mod expands the combat system with a large set of new weapons, each with its own texture. Among them are a rapier, a scythe in two recolors, a hammer and a katana. Its snowball is changed so that a hit slows the mob it strikes, which can help a player keep distance during a fight.

Movement gains three additions. Wall climbing lets a player climb and wall jump on vertical surfaces, double jump adds an extra leap triggered with the sneak button, and a back command returns a player to their most recent death position. The mod is available as a Fabric, Forge and Quilt file for Minecraft 1.16 – 1.20.6, and a data pack build is also published. The server must run it, while players may choose to install it as well. The code is covered by All rights reserved, not open source.
