ClipChat
by Thomas7520
ClipChat places a clipboard manager inside the Minecraft chat screen, so copied text can be pasted back without leaving the game.
What it does
Copied text is kept in a history that opens in the chat window. Opening the chat shows the panel next to the input line, and a click on any entry inserts it at the cursor. Pinned entries stay at the top of the list, and entries can be deleted from the same panel. Coordinates copied earlier can be pasted into a command again, which removes the need to switch windows with alt-tab.
The panel can be moved, resized and collapsed, and it works with the mouse or with the keyboard alone. Four built-in themes are available, and their colours can be changed. Clipboard persistence between game sessions is optional. On Windows, the mod can also show the system clipboard history inside the chat screen; that feature is disabled by default and reads the history only when the panel is opened, with nothing saved by ClipChat.
The mod runs on the client alone, so players install it and servers do not need it. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.20.1 – 26.2 across six game versions. The latest files are version 1.0.1 for 26.2, dated 2026-08-13. The mod is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 and is not open source, though its source code is public.
