CigarCrafter

by GSV

With CigarCrafter, players grow tobacco from seeds found in tall grass, then cure the leaves into cigars at a Drying Rack.

What it does

The mod adds a tobacco crop to the farming system. Seeds drop when tall grass is broken, the plant grows to a harvest that yields Green Tobacco Leaves, and placing those leaves on a Drying Rack cures them over time until the texture changes to Dried Tobacco. Cured leaves are then crafted into cigars that give unique status effects. The Drying Rack is made from wood and is also used as a job site block, so a villager placed near an unemployed villager can become a Tobacconist. That profession trades harvested goods for emeralds and sells unique items in return.

The mod sits alongside the vanilla look and gives farming, processing and trading new ways to interact with villages. It needs Fabric API and runs on Fabric, with builds for six versions in the 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 range. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. CigarCrafter is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
