Chromastone adds a new alien form to Alien Evolution, which players gain access to through the addon, for Forge on 1.20.1.

What it does

Chromastone is a Forge addon for Alien Evolution. Its jar bundles the new alien and its abilities, and the addon is installed next to Alien Evolution rather than replacing it. Both sides need it, so servers and every player run the same build. The addon is published for 1.20.1 only, with 1.9 as the latest Forge file, first released on 2026-03-07.

Two builds are offered, a jar and a zip, and they are meant to feel alike to play, with small balance and interaction differences between them. Switching to an older zip build changes the registry, so the alien evolution must be obtained again. Compatibility with the Omnitrix Evolution addon is planned for a later release, and Omnitrix Evolution (Alienevo Addon) is listed as a mod that requires this one. The team plans further work on stats, icons and abilities before a wider release.
