Chat Emoji Mod replaces emoji shortcodes in chat with colored emoji pictures on the player's own screen, for Fabric players.

What it does

Players type a shortcode such as tada in chat and the client shows it as a picture in place of the text. The change happens only on the client, so other players see the message as usual unless they run the mod too. It was made mainly for servers such as Hypixel that do not let players send Unicode emoji in chat, and it works in single player and on servers alike, using the CHAT message type instead of the game message type. Fabric API is required.

The mod is open source under the MIT License, and its source code is public. Builds exist for 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, with 1.2.1 for 1.21.11 as the latest Fabric file.
