Chainmail Bucket is a Fabric and Quilt cursed item mod that adds a bucket with chainmail armor properties.

What it does

The bucket can only pick up and store fluid source blocks, so flowing fluids cannot be scooped. Placing the bucket in the helmet slot gives the same armor value as an iron chainmail helmet, and a later texture fix corrects how the bucket looks when worn. Lava is a risk: a lava bucket can spill a little when someone tries to pick it up. The mod runs on client and server, and Fabric API is required. Files cover 1.19 – 1.20.1 and are released under the MIT License, so the code is open source.
