CCTVCraft
CCTVCraft adds security devices to NeoForge 1.21.8, where players place cameras, monitors and jammers to watch and guard their bases.
What it does
Cameras are blocks that a player views remotely through spectator mode, and monitor blocks display the feeds through in-game apps. Jammers disrupt camera signals, so a base can be defended against surveillance. Secure safes store resources, secure doors and hatches restrict access to parts of a base, and secure blocks are locked with an iron pinlock.
The mod is aimed at survival worlds and servers where players want in-game security rather than external tools. Its focus is a balanced security system: many of the devices use crafted resources, and some blocks accept dye. The official GitHub wiki describes how each part of the mod works. Installation requires NeoForge only; the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is released under All rights reserved, not as open source.
Key features
Remote camera viewing
Cameras can be watched from a distance using spectator mode, letting a player check a site without standing in it.
Monitor apps
Monitor blocks run in-game apps, including a utility panel that replaces the camera app system, a music editor and a document editor.
Signal jammers
Jammers interfere with camera signals, so a player can counter surveillance set up by others.
Secure blocks and doors
Safes, doors and hatches can be secured, and secure blocks are locked with an iron pinlock.
Alarm and music
An alarm block plays three custom alarm sounds, a CD player block plays music discs, and empty discs can be turned into music or document discs.
