CBCollection
by ruusika
CBCollection, a Fabric mod by ruusika, adds food and cooking content in the form of Patchouli guide books and datapack recipes that work alongside other food mods.
What it does
The mod adds several Patchouli-style books covering food and cooking mods, and includes a datapack that makes its recipes compatible with other food content. It is built on top of Farmer's Delight Refabricated, Expanded Delight, Culinaire and Patchouli, all of which must be installed for it to run. Its start was a first recipe book written with Patchouli, after which the author expanded the set to cover more food mods.
The project is based on the work of several Farmer's Delight-related authors: Torty, vectorwing, thethonk, ianm1647 and Hugman 76 are credited as bases for the content. The author describes the collection as a successor to Delight Cookbook. The mod needs Dark Enchanting, and Omega-Config is used for test environments.
CBCollection runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric only, for the game versions 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and the mod is released under the MIT License as open source. Source code and an issue tracker are public.
Key features
Patchouli guide books
Guide books in the Patchouli format document the food content, so players can look up recipes inside the game.
Compatibility datapack
A datapack makes the recipes work with other food mods, reducing conflicts between content from different sources.
Content from several bases
The recipes build on Farmer's Delight Refabricated, Expanded Delight and Culinaire, combining their foods in one set.
Cooking book series
The books are arranged as a series, with one book per food area rather than a single large guide.
