Bundled Items
by puxped
Bundled Items lets bundle items take up less inventory space, so storage-block items use fewer slots.
What it does
Bundle items are a way to keep frequently acquired items in less valuable space. Many bundles are crafted on a 9-slot grid, some on 8, and each one is a container for a set of items. Bundles stack to 32, so a single slot can hold up to 256 or 288 items depending on the bundle. Shift-right-clicking a bundle breaks it back into its items and returns one container, which lets a player undo the craft.
Bundled Items adds bundles for a long list of food, materials, flowers, seeds and other common items, and a bonus feature turns bundled firework rockets into spawned fireworks, nine at once. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Installation needs Fabric API, and files are published for Fabric only, covering 1.20 – 1.21.1 across eight release versions.
The project was previously published under the Ember development team and is now maintained by puxped. The author text says the mod supports English (US and UK) and has French and Spanish translations marked unfinished. The code is not open source; the author has published the source code and issue tracker, and the mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.
Key features
Compact bundle storage
Bundles let common items occupy fewer inventory slots than they would loose, with each bundle holding a stack of its contents.
Varied bundle recipes
Bundles are crafted from a 9-slot or 8-slot grid, with containers such as bowls, paper, glass, vials and quivers.
Shift-right-click decraft
Shift-right-clicking a bundle empties it and gives back the container it was made from.
Bundled firework rockets
A bundle of firework rockets spawns nine fireworks at once, adding a bonus effect to the item set.
