Bundle Up
by NotchArrow
Bundle Up lets players stuff a bundle with nearby items through a quick keystroke, and pull unstackable items back out of it.
What it does
A single keystroke bundles everything in the inventory that fits, so a player can gather loose stacks into bundles without dragging each one by hand. Unstackable items such as tools and armor can be placed in a bundle and taken out again, which keeps them together without occupying several slots. Specific inventory slots can be blacklisted so that bundles never take items from them, and the hotbar is blacklisted by default.
The mod offers two main modes. In the default priority mode, items are taken in an order that frees the most inventory space possible, starting with the items that take up the least room in a bundle. In the sorting mode, which is holding shift by default, items are only moved into a bundle that is already present in the inventory, and the stacks are packed in a space-efficient way. Bundle Up runs on the client alone, so a server does not need it, and it requires Fabric API. Cloth Config API and Mod Menu are optional and add a settings screen. The mod is published for Fabric, for 1.21.4 – 1.21.11 across 8 release versions, and it is released under the MIT License as open source.
Key features
Quick bundle keystroke
A single key sends every item that fits from the inventory into bundles in one action.
Unstackable items in bundles
Tools and other unstackable items can go into a bundle and come back out of it.
Slot blacklist
Chosen inventory slots are excluded so bundles never take items from them, and the hotbar is excluded by default.
Priority and sorting modes
Priority mode takes the items that use the least bundle space first, while sorting mode only fills bundles that already exist.
