BOB's Originium dream

by goodsquid

With BOB's Originium dream installed, players can breed and tame Originium creatures, several of which turn hostile if they are neglected.

What it does

The mod adds varieties of Originium creatures that roam the land. Oriworm is the species the mod is named around, and its cute look hides a dangerous side: some unfriendly individuals, such as the pompeii, milan and roamhouse types, must be fought before they can be dealt with. Breeding and feeding turn the friendly ones into companions, and players can train them with iron.

Originium is treated as a precious ore. Oriworms can be used to cook delicious food, but the creatures need regular control. If they are left unattended, players may face a boss-level Originium creature, and beating it takes stronger weapons and armor. The mod needs Geckolib and Patchouli, which must be installed with it. It runs on client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is published for Forge only, on Minecraft 1.20.1.

Key features

  1. Originium creatures

Several creature varieties from the Originium line roam the overworld, each with its own behavior.

  2. Oriworm breeding

Oriworms breed when fed, and players can raise them into companions with iron as feed.

  3. Hostile individuals

Some Oriworms are unfriendly and must be defeated before they can be tamed or farmed.

  4. Originium food and a boss

Oriworms can be cooked into food, and neglected Originium creatures can grow into a boss that needs strong gear.
