What it does
Boats step up one-block height changes instead of stopping at the edge. A boat can move over uneven terrain and small banks along a river or a shoreline, which keeps travel smooth where the default boat would catch on the edge of a block. Its main effect is on drifting: the step-up behavior lets boats keep their momentum over short rises, so long water journeys feel less interrupted.
Boat Step Up is a lightweight install with no configuration screen. It targets boats on the water and the terrain around it, and it is meant for players who cross rivers, lakes and oceans by boat. Installation needs only the mod for the chosen loader, since it has no required dependencies. Installation covers the server and each player's game.
