Black_dogs's Modding Library (BML) is a Forge library that other mods use to share common code, items and blocks.

What it does

BML is a shared code library rather than a gameplay mod on its own. It provides helpers that other Forge mods can call, so that their authors can build new items and blocks without rewriting the same groundwork. It is required by three catalog mods, including Jet Boots, Warp Radial and Knowledge Drop, so those mods will not start without it installed.

Both the server and every player need BML, since the client and server environment applies. The library is published for Forge only, across four release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.20.1. The latest file is 1.20.1-1.1.8 for 1.20.1, released on 2023-09-16. The code is covered by All rights reserved, and it is not open source, though public links exist for the source code and issue tracker.
