BlueMap
by BlueColored
Players who want a browsable 3D view of their world can generate one with BlueMap, which renders the map and serves it through a web viewer.
What it does
BlueMap renders 3D models of a Minecraft world and displays them in a browser. It is available for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and also for Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia and Sponge as server plugins. A standalone command-line version can render a world without any server running.
Rendering runs asynchronously beside the server thread, so the server thread is not blocked directly. The web server is enabled by default, binds to all network interfaces on port 8100 and hosts the contents of the bluemap/web folder, and it can be turned off in the configuration. Usage metrics can also be disabled there.
Server owners install it, and players connect with no copy of their own. The Fabric build depends on the Fabric API library. BlueMap is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public links to the source code, issue tracker and wiki. Files exist for game versions 1.13 – 26.3, and the latest builds, 5.29, were published on 2026-10-10.
Key features
3D world models
The mod converts terrain and blocks into 3D models that can be explored from any angle in the viewer.
Browser web viewer
The rendered map is hosted by a built-in web server, so anyone with the address can open it in a browser.
Asynchronous rendering
Map generation runs next to the server thread, which keeps rendering from holding up the main game loop.
Standalone rendering
A command-line mode renders a world to a web map without starting a Minecraft server.
