With Bloom installed, a world gains a vanilla-styled Overworld expansion of new biomes, Golden Birch trees, flowers and shrubs, built on Cloth Config API, Lithostitched and Unified API.
What it does
Bloom is a world generation mod that adds new Overworld biomes. Its temperate Golden Forest sits between forests and taigas, with a sparse variant that borders nearby plains. Golden Fields, Golden River and Lavender Fields round out the set, and the new Golden Birch trees are paired with reeds, wildflowers, tulips and goldenrods on the ground.
The mod also places a swamp-like biome near taigas, a rare plains variant that appears in climates similar to Flower Forests, and a Windswept Jungle with its sparse variant, where Rose Bushes grow beside Jacaranda trees. Pine Taiga, Snowy Pine Taiga and Tropical River extend the taiga and river areas. Cloth Config API, Lithostitched and Unified API are required, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds are published for Fabric and NeoForge across 26.1.2 and the 1.21.11 – 26.1.2 range.

Golden Birch and Golden Forest
Golden Birch trees form a temperate biome placed between forests and taigas, with a sparse variant on the edge of plains.
Lavender Fields
A biome where lavender covers much of the ground, interspersed with alliums, scattered oaks and new Jacaranda trees.
Windswept Jungle
A jungle variant placed on windswept terrain, with a large number of Rose Bushes beside Jacaranda trees, and a sparse version as well.
Pine and snowy taigas
New Pine Taiga mixes pine with spruce and borders an overhauled Old Growth Pine Taiga, while the snowy variant replaces taigas in low-temperature regions.
Tropical River
A muddy jungle variant of rivers that adds tropical water to the Overworld.

Flora Expansion is NeoForge only and open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.21.1 – 26.2, and it is also client and server. The Blue Forest supports Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.1 – 26.1.2, is client and server, and is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, so it is not open source. Biome Plus covers Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 26.1.2 and is not open source under All rights reserved, while its client or server optional environment lets either side run it alone.
