by Syhmac

Blocks Recolor lets a player change the color of dyeable blocks in the world, covering concrete powder, glazed terracotta, stained glass and stained glass panes.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalCustom license26.1 – 26.2

What it does

Players use the recolor action on a dyeable block to give it a different color, so a built wall or floor can be repainted without rebuilding it. The mod targets the dyeable block families named above, and the chosen color is applied to the block itself.

Environment: the server is required and the client is optional, so server owners install the mod and players can join with or without it. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest file 1.0+mod for 26.2 dated 2026-07-14, and snapshot builds are published alongside the release builds for 26.1 – 26.2. The mod is not open source and uses a custom license.

Key features

  1. Recolor dyeable blocks

Dyeable blocks can be recolored in place, so a finished build can change color without being replaced.

  2. Concrete powder

Concrete powder blocks take a new color through the recolor action, keeping the same block shape.

  3. Glazed terracotta and stained glass

Glazed terracotta, stained glass and stained glass panes are covered, so colored glass and patterned blocks can match a scheme.
