Block Armor Remake is a from-scratch rebuild of the Block Armor mod by 2piradians, for Fabric and NeoForge on 1.21.8.

What it does

The remake recreates the original armor set and keeps its set effects, which the author describes as different from one another and from vanilla equipment. Custom textures show the key features on each armor piece. A health boost raises maximum hearts to 10, and a flame resistant piece self-enchants the armor with Fire Protection 4.

Other pieces cover light and food. An illuminated piece lights the area around the player, glowstone and jack o'lantern variants are included, and an amethyst bookshelf is listed among the items. A feeder keeps hunger replenished automatically, and an experience giving effect grants XP slowly. The author notes the project is unfinished and remains in active development.

Both loaders need the mod on the server and on every player's client, since the environment is client and server. Files are published for 1.21.8 only, under the Apache License 2.0, and the source code and issue tracker are public.

This mod is a remake of the original “Block Armor” by 2piradians. We loved the original Block Armor mod, but we were disappointed that development had stopped and it would not be updated. So we took it into our hands to recreate the original mod and update it to the latest versions of the game! This mod is unfinished…
