Blessfulled
by AquTheSeal
Blessfulled, a Forge mod by AquTheSeal, adds animated damage numbers and a white hurt flash to combat in Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1.
What it does
When a mob or player takes damage, a popup counter animates above the target and shows the number alongside a short onomatopoeia text. The counter colors change with the damage type, so different sources read at a glance. The hurt effect is a white overlay that flashes whenever an entity is hit.
Both effects can be configured. The author notes that the overlay works with entity overlays such as armor. The mod is labeled as early in development, so bugs are expected. It runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is published for Forge only, for 1.20 and 1.20.1 builds. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.

Use cases
Combat readability
Players who want to track how much damage each hit deals can follow the popup numbers during a fight.
Modded combat setups
Players running armor or other entity overlay mods can check how the white flash interacts with those effects.
Who it’s for: Players who want more visible combat feedback on Forge 1.20.1, and server owners who want the same effects for everyone on a shared world.
How it compares
No Hurt Flash (Reforged) is an Apache License 2.0 mod for Forge and NeoForge, client-side only, covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.1. Global Tweaks is a Forge-only, open source mod under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only for 1.20.1, and it can run on either side. Blessfulled covers the hurt flash and damage numbers together and needs both client and server, so it is not a single-side swap for either alternative.
